Live Performances
With the glow of a projector, we cast each other’s shadows onto canvas. Our bodies become both subject and tool, shaping outlines that we trace with care. Each pose is chosen with intention, a quiet choreography of stillness and motion. Once traced, the forms bloom with color, painted into being. Then we begin again as one silhouette is layered upon another, forms overlapping like echoes of breath.
This unfolding takes place in real time before an audience. What might seem simple, the act of tracing, painting, and repeating, becomes meditative, almost ritual. As music moves through the space, its rhythm guides our gestures, weaving sound and image into a single experience.
The work is both performance and painting, a spectacle of shadow and light. It is an exploration of presence, of two bodies in dialogue with canvas, and an invitation for the audience to witness creation as it happens.
